Privacy & cookies

Private by default.

Quiet Merit is built as a local-first trading journal. The landing page uses Plausible for aggregate pageviews and two selected events: Demo Open and Checkout Click. The lite demo does not load analytics, and journal data is never sent to Plausible.

Cookies

Quiet Merit does not set first-party cookies. Plausible works without cookies, localStorage or other persistent identifiers, so there are no analytics, advertising or login cookies on this site.

Aggregate website analytics

The landing page uses Plausible Analytics to measure pageviews and the Demo Open and Checkout Click events. Automatic outbound-link, file-download and form-submission tracking are disabled. Plausible records aggregate traffic information such as page URL, referrer, browser, operating system, device type and coarse location. Raw IP addresses and full user-agent strings are not stored, and no persistent identifier is created. Plausible processes and stores visitor data in the EU.

Local storage

The app uses browser localStorage to save journal data on your own device. That data is not uploaded to a Quiet Merit server. If browser storage is deleted, the journal data can be deleted too, so JSON backups matter.

Lite demo

The lite demo contains sample data. It does not load Plausible Analytics. It may use localStorage and the browser cache to keep interface state and support offline behavior, but it is not connected to an account system.
